Significant Requirements

The following is a list of significant efforts or long-term activities that the scout will need to accomplish toward his Eagle. Note that these are not the full requirements — be sure to check the real requirements in the up-to-date merit badge book, Boy Scout Handbook, or Boy Scout Requirements Handbook.

In addition, the scout will need to write several reports of various lengths, prepare and lead presentations and give speeches, and meet and discuss with various experts about jobs and other skills.

In many cases, the boy should discuss the merit badge and rank requirements in advance with his counselors and leaders.
