Planning Conference

In addition, the youth leaders should hold an annual or semi-annual planning conference. This may be a full-day event, such as 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a lunch break. This important PLC meeting creates a calendar for the entire year, while the monthly meetings focus on specific details. The PLC focuses on goals, significant activities, and meeting themes while developing the yearly schedule. The troop committee reviews the program based on the Guide to Safe Scouting and realities of budget planning.
