About
BeginningBoyScouts.com is a hub to primarily help new parents, new leaders, and new scouts as they get started in Boy Scouting. Navigating scouting can be an intricate process with the many requirements, guidelines, and procedures that aren't fully explained — and often not even introduced — in the official handbook.
There are a lot of resources available online, however many aren't very user friendly. Often you don't know where to begin and you may be even more confused. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to understand the basics of scouting.

We plan to provide detailed checklists for requirements and troop and patrol scoring checklists. In addition, a long-term goal is to provide an open source software for tracking scout requirements.
